Published in London in 1898 this is the First Edition of H G Wells classic Alien invasion novel “The War of the Worlds”, bound in the original grey cloth titled in black, with the Heinemann publishers’ device on rear cover, this is a later state of the First without the publisher’s catalogue at the rear.
